Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said, Allah said, The offspring of Adam abuse the Dahr (Time), and I am the Dahr; in My Hands are the night and the day. !

Abu Huraira reported: I heard Allah’s Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as saying: Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said: The son of Adam abuses Dahr (the time), whereas I am Dahr since in My hand are the day and the night.

Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as saying: Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said: The son of Adam causes Me pain as he says: Woe be upon the Time. None of you should say this: Woe be upon the Time, as I am the Time (because) I alternate the day and the night, and when I wish I can finish them up.

ہم سے یحییٰ بن بکیر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے لیث بن سعد نے بیان کیا، ان سے یونس نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابن شہاب نے بیان کیا، انہیں ابوسلمہ نے خبر دی، انہوں نے کہا کہ ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے کہ انسان زمانہ کو گالی دیتا ہے حالانکہ میں ہی زمانہ ہوں، میرے ہی ہاتھ میں رات اور دن ہیں۔“
Book: Sahih Bukhari, Chapter: The Book of Al-Adab (Good Manners), Hadees No. 6181ابو سلمہ بن عبد الرحمٰن نے بتا یا کہ حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے کہا: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو کہتے ہوئے سنا: ” اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے۔ ابن آدم دہر ( وقت، زمانے ) کو برا کہتا ہے جبکہ ( رب ) دہر میں ہی ہوں۔ رات اور دن ( جنھیں انسان وقت کہتا ہے ) میرے ہاتھ میں ہیں۔”
Book: Sahih Muslim, Chapter: The Book Concerning the use of Correct Words, Hadees No. 5862معمرنے ہمیں زہری سے خبر دی انھوں نے ابن مسیب سے، انھوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی،: کہا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” اللہ عزوجل نے ارشاد فرمایا: ابن آدم مجھے ایذا دیتا ہے وہ کہتا ہے۔ ” ہائے زمانے ( وقت ) کی نامرادی! “تم میں سے کوئی” ہائے زمانے کی نامرادی! “( جیسا جملہ ) نہ کہے، کیونکہ دہر ( کا مالک ) میں ہوں۔ رات اور دن کو پلٹتا ہوں اور میں جب چا ہوں گا ان کی بساط لپیٹ دوں گا۔ “
